Always choose a safe location for the fan, keeping in mind the safety precautions
outlined. Ensure all packaging has been removed from the unit before use. This
appliance requires no installation, it should be used solely as a portable
appliance.
WARNING Keep all objects at least 1
metre from the front, sides and rear of
the appliance
Fan control
Place the fan on a dry, level and sturdy
surface.
Plug the power cord into the socket.
Switch on the appliance by pressing the
on/off button on the control panel or remote
control. The will start to blow at low speed.
To change speed, press the fan speed
button. Fan speed will change with each
button stroke.
The fan has an automatic timer to turn the
unit OFF at intervals of 1 to 7 hours. To set
the timer, turn the unit on at the required
speed, press the TIMER button until the
desired run time is illuminated.
The fan will turn off once the time has
expired.
Adjust tilt by turning neck screw and tilting
body to the desired wind direction (i.e.
either upward or downward).
To activate the oscillation function, push
down the oscillation pin on the top of the
motor. The fan will then oscillate until the
pin is pulled back up.

Pressing the mode button will select the
wind mode, i.e. natural, sleep or normal. The
mode will be indicated on the display panel.

Remote Control
The remote control requires 2 x AAA
batteries (not included). Open the battery
compartment by sliding the cover down.
Insert batteries, noting the polarity indicated
in the battery compartment. Replace the
cover by sliding it up.
Cleaning and Maintenance
To avoid risk of electric shock, before
cleaning, you MUST ALWAYS switch off
and unplug the fan.
Use only a soft, damp cloth to gently wipe
the fan and dry well.
We recommend periodic cleaning of this
appliance by lightly running a vacuum
cleaner nozzle over the grills to remove any
dust or dirt that may have accumulated.
Do not immerse the fan in water and never
allow water to enter the motor housing.
Do not use harsh chemicals to clean the fan.
