Accidentally hooking up the system to the hot water supply line will permanently damage the membrane (see conditions for operation). APSWATER 800-460-9011 apswater.com System Maintenance Membrane Replacement Instructions The membrane should be replaced every 1-2 years, depending on the water quality. Before starting, shut off the cold water supply to the unit. Lift the handle on the faucet to drain out the storage tank completely and allow the system to stand for 10 minutes in order to fully decompress the tank.
