Activation, Care, & Troubleshooting Activating the System For the First Time Make sure all water supply/drain lines are secure and free from leakage. Slowly turn the saddle valve counterclockwise until fully open. Check stem seal for leakage. If necessary tighten stem nut lightly. Turn storage tank valve one quarter turn counterclockwise to open the valve (the handle should be in line with the tubing as it enters the connection). -
