CROSSOVER INSTALLATION
The in-line crossover comes with an adhesive tape on the backside. Remove the backing
n
and adhere the crossover in an area which provides enough space.
TWEETER INSTALLATION
The tweeter is located behind a cover. Remove the tweeter from the cover and replace it
n
with the new AXTON tweeter. Use a little bit of hot melt glue to fix the new tweeter.
Now mount the cover including the tweeter back in place. Be sure that the cover fits
n
perfectly.
CROSSOVER WIRING
Now run all wires to the designated speakers: WF to the woofer and TW to the tweeter.

Choose one of the provided connecting wires to connect the crossover with the supply
n
line of the radio.
There is a switch on the crossover PCB to decrease the tweeter volume level by -3dB.

MOUNTING THE DOOR PANEL
The install of the speaker system is complete. Follow the steps in reversed way to re-
n
mount the door panel.
TESTING THE INSTALLED SYSTEM
Slowly turn up the volume of your head unit, and listen for distorted sounds. If everything
appears to be okay and it just sounds right, check out the speaker balance of the left and
right side by adjusting the balance control of your headunit. Shifting the balance to the
left channel should provide you with sounds coming solely from the left speaker system,
while shifting the balance to the right should do the same for the right speakers. If anything
appears to be wrong, you must recheck the wiring of the x-overs, the amp or the mid/
woofers.
