Touch sounds

When enabled, tones play when you touch keys on
the phone.
1. From the Settings screen, tap
Sound.
2. Under Feedback, tap Touch sounds to enable or disable
the option. When enabled, a check mark dislays in the
check box.

Screen Lock Sound

When enabled, tones play when you touch the screen to lock
or unlock it.
1. From the Settings screen, tap
Sound.
2. Under Feedback, tap Screen lock sound to enable or
disable the option. When enabled, a check mark
dislays in the check box.

Emergency Tone

You can choose to have a tone play, or have your phone
vibrate, periodically during an emergency call.
1. From the Settings screen, tap
Sound.
2. Under Feedback, tap Emergency tone to select a tone:
• Off: No tone or vibration plays during emergency calls.
• Alert: A tone plays during emergency calls.
• Vibrate: A vibration plays during emergency calls.
Samsung Applications
Select this option to access sound settings for select
applications on your phone.
1. From the Settings screen, tap
Sound.
2. Under Samsung applications, touch one of the following
to access sound settings for the selected application:
• Call: See "Call Settings" on page 118.
• Message: See "Messaging Settings" on page 50.
• Email: See "Create an Email Account" on page 53.
• Calendar: See "Calendar" on page 61.
