When the initialization is complete, the IronKey Control Panel appears. Your device is now ready to pro- tect your data and can be used on a Windows, Mac or Linux computer. Some policies set by the adminis- trator may restrict use of the device to systems running only Windows and Mac. -
Page 14: Unlocking And Locking The Device
When working in this mode, the IronKey Control Panel will display the text “Read-Only Mode”. In this mode, you cannot perform any operations that involve modifying files on the device. For example, you cannot reformat the device, restore applications or edit the Applications list, or edit files on the drive. - Page 15 Press the WINDOWS LOGO KEY + R to open the Run prompt: Type CMD and press ENTER. From the command prompt, type CHKDSK, the IronKey Secure Files drive letter, and then “/F /R”.
