8. Type *#9090# Select option 2 (DM/DUN over HSIC) (If the codes does not work or the option is
not present then just skip this step! )
9. Type *#0808# via your dialpad
10. Set USB to AP (PDA)
11. Set USB settings to DM+MODEM+ADB
12. Connect phone with computer using original Samsung USB cable
13. Run Samsung Remote Unlock Client (Start -> Programs -> Simlock Remote Client -> Samsung
Remote Unlock client)
14. Login using your SRS login
15. Select your phone model from the drop down list
16. Press rescan and make sure 'DiagPort' is detected (In case of trouble
modem
port)
1. Make sure your original Samsung USB cable is connected to your computer and your
phone (turned on in correct mode)
2. Open 'Device Manager' on your computer:
On XP go to: Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> (Switch to Classic view ) -> System ->
Hardware (tab) -> Device Manager.
On Vista go to: Start -> Type in the following commando in the 'Search box':
devmgmt.msc and hit enter.
On Windows 7 Click the pearl button (start button) then in the search box type 'Device
Manager', you will see 'Device Manager' in the search results. Click and it opens.
3. Now click the '+' at 'Ports (com & LPT)
4. Look for: 'diagnostic interface (com xx)'
5. Important note Some OMAP5 device create 2 diag Ports. Only one of them works for
unlocking.
When trying to unlock check your log (white log screen) you should see a line with
'Chipset: M9xxxx' (where xxxx are random other characters). If this line reads anything
else then 'M9' you have the wrong Com port selected!.
6. You can directly see the Comport number between the brackets (ComX where 'X' is a
number)
