Camera Settings

1. From a Home screen, tap
2. Tap
Settings to configure settings for
Camera. Available options vary depending on the
shooting mode used.
Edit shortcuts: Select which options you want
to display as a quick setting.
GPS tag: Attach a GPS location tag to the
picture.
Shooting mode: Choose a mode.
Effects: Add special graphical effects.
Scene mode: Choose a mode that represents
the lighting you are in to help adjust the color.
Brightness: Manually adjust the brightness.
Timer: Take time-delayed pictures or videos.
Resolution: Select a resolution. Use higher
resolution for higher quality. Higher resolution
pictures take up more memory.
White balance: Select an appropriate white
balance, so images have a true-to-life color
range. The settings are designed for specific
lighting situations. These settings are similar to
the heat range for white-balance exposure in
professional cameras.
Metering: Select a metering method. This
determines how light values are calculated.
Center-weighted measures background light
in the center of the scene. Spot measures
the light value at a specific location. Matrix
averages the entire scene.
Guidelines: Display viewfinder grid lines to
help composition when selecting subjects.
Contextual filename: Allow the device to
create filenames based on the context of the
photo. (Can only be used when Location tags
is enabled.)
Image quality: Change the image quality level.
Storage: Select the location for storage.
Reset: Reset the camera settings.
