A 3D printer is a type of industrial robot. The MagiCube uses a technology called FFF (Fused Filament Fabrication). FFF is an additive manufacturing technology commonly used for modeling, prototyping, and production applications. It is one of the techniques used for printing.
2.6. Safety High Temperatures Warning: The MagiCube generates high temperatures at the print head. Never reach into the print area while the printer is in operation. Always allow the printer to cool down before reaching anywhere near the print head. Keep combustible or flammable materials away from the print head and the print surface.
Using Anyprint you can export the .x3g to a microSD card and use the printer’s LCD interface to start the print, or plug The MagiCube in with a USB cable to print.
The MagiCube 3D Printer comes fully assembled, and setup can take as little as 10 minutes. Simply follow these instructions: 1. Take the MagiCube out of the box and place it on a flat surface, any stable table or desk will be fine. Turn it so that the power and data ports are on the right side.
7. Turn the knob so that “Load” is selected. 8. Press the control knob in briefly to activate the selection. 13. Press and hold control knob for 2 seconds to return to the previous menu (main) WeAre3D.ca Copyright 2015 We Are 3D Inc. Page 12...
4. LCD interface 4.1. Navigating the menu There is a small selector on the left hand side of the screen to show which option is selected. To change the selected option, rotate the knob in either direction. To activate the selection press the knob in briefly. To go back, press and hold the knob for 2 seconds.
MagiCube User Manual 5. AnyPrint software Each MagiCube 3D printer comes with AnyPrint software. This software does all of the slicing for your models and allows you to print without having to export your model to an SD card or USB.
Scale – Allows the model to be scaled up or down Rotate – Allows the model to be rotated in the print area PLA – Standard filament type for the MagiCube Low – Lowest printing speed. Med – Medium printing speed.

There are many different 3D modeling software programs on the market, and you can use any of them that can output an .stl file. Included with your MagiCube is a program called 3D Magic, which is an easy to use 3D modelling program.
5. Inspect the enclosure for plastic debris and remove if you see any. 6. Re-tape the bed if tape has worn out. 7. Place bed back into the printer for next print and ensure it is properly seated. WeAre3D.ca Copyright 2015 We Are 3D Inc. Page 18...
Sometimes filament can jam in the extruder. You’ll know it’s jammed if no more layers are being produced while printing and you hear a clicking sound coming from the print head. If that happens follow these steps: 7.2.1. Cut the filament Using the side cutters provided with the printer, cut the filament just above the print head. WeAre3D.ca Copyright 2015 We Are 3D Inc. When removing the cover be careful of the wires on the left side, make sure they aren’t being pinched or pulled as you remove and replace the extruder cover. 7.2.3. Determine where the jam is The jam could be in the extruder gear mechanism, or below the extruder gear mechanism. WeAre3D.ca Copyright 2015 We Are 3D Inc. Page 20...
7.2.5. Push the filament in the direction of the jam This will dislodge the bulb and give you an area to cut the bulb off the filament. 7.2.6. Cut the filament bulb off WeAre3D.ca Copyright 2015 We Are 3D Inc. Page 21...
7.2.8. Carefully attach extruder cover Be careful of the wires on the right. Make sure that they are not pulled too tight or pinched. Slide filament guide piece into place before fully attaching. WeAre3D.ca Copyright 2015 We Are 3D Inc. Page 22...
