Wearing the Communicator Tag
Communicator tags can be worn in three different ways:
around the neck like a pendant, clipped to a person's
clothes, or fastened securely to a person's clothes to cause
a Panic alarm if automatically pulled off.
1 Turn the Communicator tag on.
The MyCall Communicator tag ships from the factory
in a "sleep" mode to minimize battery consumption.
Press either Communicator tag button to turn the
Communicator tag on. The Communicator tag emits
a short beep.
2 Test the Communicator tag.
Before installing the Communicator tag, check that
it is operating properly. Turn on Tag Diagnostics in
the MyCall system software, and then initiate a Panic
alarm. Check the software to make sure that the alarm
message has been received.
3 Fasten the Communicator tag.
Installation differs depending upon the fastener used.
A Fastened to a neck chain or cord
Slip the neck chain or cord through the loop
located on the top of the Communicator tag. Use
a standard or breakaway chain or cord, as required.
