Apps edge: Add up to five applications to display as shortcuts on the Apps edge.
Information stream: Select information feeds that appear on the Edge screen, set the Edge
screen timeout, and configure Weather information settings.
Night clock: Set up a clock that displays on the Edge screen when the phone screen is off.
Night mode is available for a maximum of 12 hours.
Edge screen position: Select either the left or right side of the display for the Edge screen.
Select notifications: Select which notifications appear on the Edge screen.
Tip: For more information on Edge screen, from the Edge screen settings menu, tap Help.

Motions and Gestures

Enable or disable motions and gestures, which provide phone controls by moving the phone or by
gesturing.
Access Motions and Gestures Settings
1. From home, tap Apps
the screens at the top to read about each motion and gesture.
2. Tap ON/OFF to turn a feature on:
Direct call: Call the contact whose call log, message, or contact details are currently on the
screen by bringing the device close to your ear.
Smart alert: The phone will vibrate when picked up to notify you about missed calls and
messages.
Mute: Mute incoming calls and alarms by placing your hand on the screen or turning the
phone over.
