  • Page 5 ADDITIONAL PRECAUTIONS FOR CHARGER & BATTERY PACK WARNING! Only charge batteries designed for use with this charger. Charge only RG-18B Batteries with Charger RG-21C Do not charge battery pack when temperature is below 0°C or above 45°C. Do not attempt to use a step-up transformer, an engine generator or DC power receptacle. Do not allow anything to cover or clog the charger vents.
  • Page 6 NOTE: The Battery pack when new from the factory in an uncharged condition. Before attempting to use it. It must be charged for at least 1 hour. NOTE: The battery pack will reach optimum performance after being cycled 5 times during normal usage.

    OPERATION • Insert a charged battery in the battery holder under the handle. Slide it forward until it locks in position. • To start the blower squeeze the trigger. • To stop the Blower release the trigger. • Start the blower and hold the it with one hand as shown and sweep from side with the nozzle several inches above the ground.
  • Page 8 Should service become necessary during the warranty period, the purchaser should contact an Authorised Ser- vice Centre or J W Ross. In order to obtain warranty service, the purchaser must present the store receipt show- ing the name of the retailer and the date of purchase.
