This Quick Guide is a generic guide for all Nokia 88xx series and 8210 phones. When you are asked to select the
modem you will see Nokia **** , please select one of the following:
Nokia 8810
Nokia 8850
Nokia 8210
Quick Guide to Using your Nokia Phone with Outlook 98
SETTING UP YOUR OUTLOOK 98 TO READ INTERNET E-MAIL
1. Check that you have made a Dial-Up Networking connection for use with your Nokia phone (My Computer – Dial-
up Networking)

2. Now that the Internet connection's properties are correctly set, you are ready to go on-line.
3. You now need to add a new service for use with your Dial-Up connection in Outlook 98.
4. Start the Outlook 98.
5. Go to Tools – Services... and click Add... to add a new service. Choose Internet E-mail from the list and click OK
(Figure 2).
