Turning the unit on/off

You can turn the unit on and off using the power button or by opening and closing the LCD
monitor.

Turning the unit on and off with the power button

Open the LCD monitor and press the power button to turn on the unit.
A The status indicator lights.
Unit is turned on when the LCD monitor is opened, and unit is turned off when it is closed.
The lens cover will open automatically when set to
still picture recording mode. (l 15)
When not using the unit, close the lens cover to protect the lens.
≥ Lens cover does not close automatically.
≥ Slide the lens cover closing switch to close the lens cover.
