What does DVR stand for?
Digital Video Recorder.
What is the default password for the settings section?
0 (zero)
Where do I find the Caller ID log?
The Caller ID log is located in My Library. Press the menu button on the
remote and choose My Library.
Can I record a program and watch another at the same time?
Yes. But you cannot watch and record High Definition (HD) programing at
the same time. You can easily watch and record Standard Definition (SD)
programing at the same time.
Can I record two programs at the same time?
At this time, you are unable to perform this function.
Can I record a High Definition (HD) program?
Yes.
Can I rewind a program that I am currently watching?
Yes. As soon as you change to a new channel the box begins temporarily
storing the programming from that channel. That means that you can not
only pause live TV but that you can also rewind back to the moment you
first changed to the channel. If you have been watching a channel for an
extended period of time (4 hours or more), you can rewind up to 4 hours in
the past.
What is my PIN number for Pay Per View purchases?
The default PIN number is "0".
How many hours of programming can I store?
You can store up to 100 hours with your Horizon DVR. You will find a
percentage in the bottom right corner of the info area when searching your
recorded programs. This percentage indicates the amount of hard drive
space you are currently using.
