Operating the Setup Wizard: Select the system resolution from the drop-down menu. The default resolution is 1280× 1024/60Hz.

The device automatically enters Live View mode when powered on. It is also at the very top of the menu hierarchy, thus pressing the ESC many times (depending on which menu you’re on) brings you to the Live View mode.

In the live view mode, once a motion detection event takes place, the device can analyze it and perform some response actions to handle it. Enabling motion detection function can trigger certain channels to start recording, or trigger full screen monitoring, audio warning, notify the surveillance center and so on.

Note: You must set the Storage mode in the HDD advanced settings to Group before you set the HDD property to Redundant.
