Safety

Place the cooler/warmer in an area where there is constant
free airflow available.
•
Never cover the cooler/warmer during use.
•
Always place the cooler/warmer on a flat, stable surface.
•
Do not subject the cooler/warmer to knocks or blows.
•
Do not attempt to open the housing of the cooler/warmer or
modify it in any way.
•
All repairs must only be carried out by qualified service technicians.
Note:
•
This cooler/warmer contains electronic components
and must only be used indoors, under cover or in such
conditions that it is not exposed to moisture, water or other
liquid.
•
The cooler/warmer is only intended for temporary cooling/
warming. It is not intended for continuous use over
an extended period.

Operating instructions
Note:
•
The LED display of the cooler/warmer is only able to show
the approximate temperature. Many factors can influence
the box's temperature such as the overall ambient temperature,
how much is packed and how the contents are packed.
•
Turn the cooler/warmer off and let it rest for 5 minutes before
changing between the hot and cold functions.
•
The cooler/warmer has a fan for automatic heat and cold
regulation.
1. Connect the cooler/warmer to a 12 V socket.
2. Select the desired function, (HOT) or (COLD) using
the function switch (6). Two LED indicators sit above each of
the two functions. Green = COLD, red = HOT.
3. Use the lid lock (2) to lock the lid securely in place. Observe
the markings on lock knob itself to ensure proper locking.
4. Turn the selector switch to OFF to turn cooler/warmer off.
Handy hint
Use the drinks lid to retrieve drinks in order to maintain a consistent
cold/hot temperature. Fizzy drink bottles can be easily retrieved
using the drinks lid.
Care, maintenance and storage
•
Always turn off the cooler/warmerand make sure it is

unplugged before cleaning.
•
Never pour water directly into the cooler/warmer during
cleaning. Wipe the interior and exterior of the cooler/warmer
with a damp cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents, never
solvents or corrosive chemicals.
•
Turn off the cooler/warmer and pull its lead from both
the box and socket when it is not being used.
•
Once cleaned, the cooler/warmer should be stored in a dry,
dust-free environment and out of children's reach.
Replacing the fuse
The 12 V plug also doubles as a fuse holder. Changing procedure:
1. Unscrew the tip of
the plug where the fuse

holder is located.
3. Screw the fuse holder back into place to complete
the procedure.
Troubleshooting guide
The cooler/warmer
won't turn on.
The cooler/warmer
has an automatic
fan for heat and
cold regulation.
Disposal
This product should be disposed of
in accordance with local regulations.
If you are unsure how to proceed,
contact your local council.
2. Pull out the fuse holder
and replace the damaged
fuse (8 A, 6 x 32 mm).
•
Make sure that the power lead is whole,
undamaged and properly connected to
both the box and 12 V socket.
•
Check that the 12 V socket is live.
•
Check the fuse status in the 12 V plug.
Change if necessary, see the Changing
the fuse section above.
The automatic fan may turn on and off
sporadically in order to maintain proper
temperature regulation. This is completely
normal.
