The VS625sd has been set-up and tested at the factory before being placed into its retail packaging. Remove the VS625sd from the packaging and place it on a level surface with the MarCum Technologies logo facing towards you and right side up. Open the top cover of the soft pack by lifting up on the hook and loop closers on each side and front of the soft pack. -

ON-SCREEN DISPLAY (OSD) FUNCTIONS The MarCum VS625sd underwater viewing system includes the most techni- cally advanced features available in an underwater fishing camera. This system incorporates a variety of sensors and an On Screen Display (OSD), capable of displaying water temperature, water depth, battery voltage, and the relative direction heading of the camera. - Page 6 Versa Electronics www.marcumtech.com temperature, depth, voltage, and heading. The heading is displayed as an arrow which rotates around the perimeter of the screen. An arrow displayed around the perimeter of the screen indicates which direction the camera is pointing “relative” to the direction the monitor is facing. For this indication to be accu- rate, the camera must be suspended by the cable, and the monitor must be on a level surface.

Ice Fishing Application The VS625sd can be used to search for that perfect weed line or locate the crib or rock pile where fish will generally school, entertain the kids, or as the perfect tool to enhance your ice fishing experience. To use as a search tool, drill a series of holes through the ice in the location you’re interested in fishing. -

Once you’ve located the spot, drill a hole 3 or 4 feet away from the hole you’re actually going to fish in. Set the VS625sd on the ice and lower the camera down the second hole. To assist in keeping the camera at the desired depth and direction, it is recommended that an Automatic Camera Panner with Remote (purchased separately) be used. -

Installing and Using the Visor Your VS625sd package includes a visor that was custom designed to fit snugly around the monitor. This visor will help to shroud the monitor and improve your viewing during sunny conditions. The visor is easily attached or removed by using the hook and loop fasteners. -

Versa Electronics www.marcumtech.com To charge your battery: Your battery has a wiring harness attached to it that has “piggyback” terminals on it, enabling you to keep the power cord from the unit attached to the battery at all times, as well as having the wiring harness with receptacle for your charger attached at all times. - Page 11 Versa Electronics www.marcumtech.com must be clearly marked on the outside of the package. Versa Electronics retains the exclusive right to repair or replace the unit at its discretion. The customer is responsible for shipping costs associated with returning the unit to Versa Electronics. Versa Electronics will pay for shipping the repaired unit back to the customer while it is still under one-year warranty.
