2-7: VERTICAL SIZE (RF)
1. Place the set with Aging Test for more than 15 minutes.
2. Receive the cross hatch signal from the Pattern Genera-
tor.
3. Set the color balance to normal position.
4. Press the FACTORY button on the Jig Remocon.
5. Press the V-SIZE +/- button on the Jig Remocon until
the rectangle on the center of the screen becomes
square.
6. Receive a broadcast and check if the picture is normal.
2-8: VERTICAL SLOPE (RF)
1. Place the set with Aging Test for more than 15 minutes.
2. Receive the center cross signal from the Pattern
Generator.
3. Set the color balance to normal position.
4. Press the FACTORY button on the Jig Remocon.
5. Press the V-SLOPE +/- button on the Jig Remocon
until the horizontal line becomes to the blanking top.

NOTE: Adjust after performing VERTICAL SLOPE
adjustment.
1. Place the set with Aging Test for more than 15 minutes.
2. Receive the center cross signal from the Pattern
Generator.
3. Set the color balance to normal position.
4. Press the FACTORY button on the Jig Remocon.
5. Press the V-POSITION +/- button on the Jig Remocon
until the horizontal line becomes fit to the notch of the
shadow mask.
2-10: SUB BRIGHT (RF)
1. Place the set with Aging Test for more than 15 minutes.
2. Receive the black pattern*.
3. Set the color balance to normal position.
4. Press the FACTORY button on the Jig Remocon.
5. Press the S-BRIGHT +/- button on the Jig Remocon
until the screen begin to shine.
* The Black Pattern means the whole black raster signal.
Select the "RASTER" of the pattern generator, set to
the OFF position for each R, G and B.
2-11: COLOR CENT (RF)
1. Place the set with Aging Test for more than 15 minutes.
2. Receive the color bar pattern.
3. Set the color balance to normal position.
4. Connect the oscilloscope to TP801.
5. Press the FACTORY button on the Jig Remocon.
6. Adjust the VOLTS RANGE VARIABLE knob of the
oscilloscope until the range between white 100% and
0% is set to 4 scales on the screen of the oscilloscope.
7. Press the S-COLOR +/- button on the Jig Remocon
until the red color level is adjusted to 80 ± 10% of the
white level. (Refer to Fig. 2-1)
