Default Messaging App

If you have multiple messaging apps installed,
you can select which app should be your default
messaging app.
1. From a Home screen, tap
> CONNECTIONS > More networks.
2. Tap Default messaging app to select a default.

Mobile Networks

Control your device's access to networks and
mobile data service.
1. From a Home screen, tap
> CONNECTIONS > More networks.
2. Tap Mobile networks for options:
Mobile data: Allow your device to connect to a
mobile data network.
International Data Roaming: Allow your
device to connect to data services while
roaming. Significantly higher charges
may result.
Access Point Names: Create and edit Access
Point Names (APNs).
Network operators: Search for available
networks.

AT&T MicroCell
To search for an AT&T MicroCell:
1. From a Home screen, tap
 Settings > CONNECTIONS > More networks
> Mobile networks.
2. Tap Network operators.
3. Tap Search for AT&T MicroCell.
Your AT&T MicroCell must be installed and activated
before you can connect to it.

Virtual Private Networks (VPN)
Set up and manage your Virtual Private Networks
(VPNs).
Note: You must set a screen lock PIN or password
before setting up a VPN. For more information,

Add a VPN
1. From a Home screen, tap
> CONNECTIONS > More networks > VPN.
2. Tap Basic VPN or Advanced IPsec VPN.
3. Tap
Add and follow the prompts to set up
your VPN.
