    • Do not use this appliance if the lead is damaged. If the lead is damaged it must be replaced with a special lead, contact the Lakeland customer care team on 015394 88100. • Always use the appliance on a dry, level, heat resistant surface.

    HOW TO ASSEMBLE THE COMPACT FRYER AND USING FOR THE FIRST TIME Unpack the Compact Fryer, basket and basket handle. Remove all the packaging materials. Wipe the inside of the tank and lid with a damp cloth. Wash the basket and basket handle in warm soapy water, dry thoroughly.

    ATTACHING THE BASKET HANDLE Take the basket handle with the two metal prongs facing downwards. Squeezing the prongs together, slot them into the two holes in the handle attachment on the inside of the basket. Pull them over the metal lip on the handle attachment.

    INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE WARNING • Do not heat the Compact Fryer without putting oil in the tank first. Oil must be filled to the minimum level and must not exceed the maximum level. If the Compact Fryer is switched on with no oil in the tank, the machine will automatically cut-out. This is a safety mechanism and will permanently damage the machine.

    • Do not lift the lid up completely, lift the basket out of the oil and hook it onto the side of the tank. Leave the food to drain before fully opening the fryer. Take care, there may be steam or splashes of oil.

    HINTS AND TIPS • We recommend using groundnut, vegetable or rapeseed oil. Always check your oil is recommended for deep frying. • Always start with clean oil. To keep your oil clean, strain out any pieces of food after use, and replace the oil completely after 10 uses.

    MONTAGEANLEITUNG FÜR DIE KOMPAKTFRITTEUSE VOR DER ERSTEN INGEBRAUCHNAHME Packen Sie Kompaktfritteuse, Frittierkorb und Frittierkorbgriff aus. Entfernen Sie sämtliche Verpackungsmaterialien. Wischen Sie den Frittierbehälter und Deckel innen feucht aus. Spülen Sie den Frittierkorb und Frittierkorbgriff mit warmem Wasser und Spülmittel ab und trocknen beide gründlich ab. Bei der ersten Ingebrauchnahme Ihrer Kompaktfritteuse nehmen Sie möglicherweise einen Geruch wahr, was völlig normal ist und sich nach mehrmaligem Gebrauch wieder gibt.

    MONTAGE DES GRIFFS AM FRITTIERKORB Erfassen Sie den Frittierkorbgriff so, dass beide Metallarme nach unten zeigen. Drücken Sie die Arme zusammen und stecken Sie diese in die beiden Löcher in der Griffbefestigung im Innern des Frittierkorbs. Ziehen Sie sie nun nach hinten über die Metalllippe an der Griffbefestigung.

    GEBRAUCHSANWEISUNG WARNHINWEIS • Die Kompaktfritteuse nicht mit leerem Frittierbehälter erhitzen. Beim Füllen mit Speiseöl darf die Mindestfüllhöhe nicht unterschritten und die maximale Füllhöhe nicht überschritten werden. Ist die Kompaktfritteuse eingeschaltet, ohne dass sich im Frittierbehälter Öl befindet, schaltet sie sich automatisch aus. Es handelt sich um einen Sicherheitsmechanismus zum Schutz des Geräts vor Schäden.

    • Heben Sie den Deckel nicht vollständig an, sondern heben den Frittierkorb aus dem Öl heraus und hängen ihn an der Seite des Frittierbehälters ein. Lassen Sie das Frittiergut abtropfen, bevor Sie die Fritteuse vollständig öffnen. Seien Sie vorsichtig, denn aus dem Frittierbehälter können Dampf und Ölspritzer heraustreten.

    TIPPS UND TRICKS SPEISEÖL • Wir empfehlen Erdnuss-, Pflanzen- oder Rapsöl. Vergewissern Sie sich stets, dass Ihr Öl für das Frittieren geeignet ist. • Frittieren Sie stets mit sauberem Öl. Ihr Öl bleibt sauber, wenn Sie nach dem Gebrauch etwaige Speisereste herausfiltern und es nach zehn Frittierdurchgängen komplett auswechseln.
