  • Page 4 Quick Start Guide TPT700-1 Congratulations on your purchase of an TPT700-1 Web Tablet. This guide was designed to help you get up and running with your new system as quickly and easily as possible. For more information on setting up and using your TPT700-1, please consult the digital PDF User’s Guide located on your Windows desktop, or visit our website at www.vantagecontrols.com.
  • Page 5 Align the battery so that the power output port on the bottom of the battery matches up with the power input pins on the back of the TPT700-1. Angle the battery slightly down and place it in the battery slot so that the battery’s small retaining tabs fit into the matching grooves on the TPT above the power input pins.
  • Page 6 Internet and/or a corporate LAN using a wired connection (RJ45) as opposed to wirelessly, connect the external peripheral now. See the chapter entitled Touring Your TPT700-1 in the PDF User Guide, to identify which ports to use.
  • Page 7 Locate the three power switches on the top on the TPT. The switch is the Web Tablet’s main power toggle. Slide it to the right and hold it there until it emits a blue glow (about 1-2 seconds) and then release it. The TPT700-1 will now boot up.

IMPORTANT: The TPT700-1 comes with Microsoft Windows XP Professional and proprietary software for touchscreen operation. The operating system on the TPT700-1 has been custom designed by Vantage, with specific operations and control interfaces for use with InFusion Systems.

Programming the Function Buttons To program the function buttons located on the right side of the TPT700-1, simply open the Panel Control Panel by tapping and holding on the icon in the system tray.
