Preparation for using the Unit

1. Installing Batteries

The unit is powered by four (4) "AAA" size batteries.
Before using the unit, please install the batteries as follows.
1. Turn the unit over.
2. Remove the screw and the battery cover.
3. Insert four (4) new "AAA" batteries according to the
polarity ( + , – ) marks inside the battery compartment.
4. Replace the battery cover and the screw.
5. Press the "RESET" button on the bottom of the unit. ( See page 7. )
The contrast adjustment display will appear. ( See page 9. )
