    SPEAKER CONNECTIONS To attach speakers to the main unit, align the grooves of main unit with the grooves on the side of the speaker box and slide the speaker box downwards. Push the speaker latch in the direction indicated to lock the speaker in place and then insert the plug of the speaker wire into the Speaker Jack (L&R).

    NOTES: • If a particular FM (STEREO) station is weak, or you hear too much background noise, try moving the band selector switch to the FM (MONO) position. This can often result in a much clearer reception. • The FM Stereo indicator light will glow when the band selector switch is set to FM STEREO and a stereo broadcast is received from a station.

MP3-CD PLAYBACK This player is capable of playing recorded MP3-CDs. PLEASE NOTE: It will take a longer time for the player to read an MP3-CD than it does regular CD.

    RANDOM PLAY (CD/MP3/USB) For Random or “shuffle” play, during playback, press the MODE button three times and "RAN." shows in the LCD display. Tracks on the disc will now be played in random order and the player will stop automatically after all tracks are played. INTRODUCTION PLAY (CD/MP3/USB) Introduction play will play the first ten seconds of each track in a sequential order.
