  • Page 4 About your Bluetooth Speaker Bluetooth speaker allows you to play audio, play sound from video fi les and stream music from Bluetooth capable devices such as your moblie phone, computer, tablet etc. Its built-in rechargeable battery allows use away from a source of power for up to 16 hours. Your speaker also has a built-in mircophone so that you may receive a phone call through your speaker whilst your music is paused on your smart phone.

    Playing audio fi les When you have successfully connected your speaker with your chosen Bluetooth device you can start to play your music. You may use the Bluetooth speaker to play or pause the music and select the previous or next track. 1.
  • Page 8 Disconnecting and reconnecting your Bluetooth Speaker You can normally only have one Bluetooth device connected to the speaker at any one time although it may be paired with up to 8 Bluetooth enabled devices. Once you have a Bluetooth enabled device connected to your speaker it cannot be interrupted by another Bluetooth device unless you choose to break the connection.
  • Page 9 Using your BluPad’s hands-free call feature Your speaker can be used as a hands-free accessory for your phone. When your music is playing through your speaker and you receive a call on your phone it can pause the music automatically to allow you to answer your phone.

    USB socket for iPhone or smartphone charging Your speaker has a USB socket which can be used for charging an iPhone or smart phone and similar devices. Charge time may vary and in some cases may take longer to charge than when using the manufacturers charging unit supplied with the smart phone.
  • Page 14 Leather carry case Your speaker comes with a leather carry case that can also be used as a stand whilst your music is playing. 1. To attach your carry case to your speaker clip the back cover on to the four press studs on the back of the speaker.
