Unpacking
Before proceeding, unpack the SWII components and familiarize yourself with all parts.
1.
Objective lens assembly – 76, 76ED, 100, or 100ED.

Assembly
Assembly of your SWII system is described below. Please note that to insure optical alignment, Borg equipment uses
fine, precision-machined threads. When assembling pieces, please do so carefully and patiently to avoid damaging
the screw threads and avoid touching optical surfaces. This will insure that your equipment performs at its best.
The SWII set comes standard with the 2" adapters already installed on the main tube assembly. If you wish to use the
SWII with 2" accessories, you may skip steps 1-3 below which describe how to install the eyepiece turret. To use 1-
1/4" accessories without the turret, you may use the optional Borg 1-1/4" adapter accessory [7317].
Borg SWII Assembly Instructions
Remove the 2" adapters [7508 and 7509], and the M57-to-M36.4
adapter [7522] from the main tube [6000].
