Starter button or bail improperly used
Overload protection switch has popped out

SOLUTION
Make sure that extension cord is securely plugged
into cultivator's cord outlet receptacle on one end
and a 110V outlet on the opposite end.
Press starter button and hold it in while
squeezing bail against the handle.
Depress overload protection switch. Follow
starting instructions.
