Disconnect the telephone cable from the load-removing grommet (2). Release the telephone cable. Remove the handset. Remove the screw (3). Push the catch to one side (4).

Position the cable in a loop under the seat. IMG-268409 Take the cable with the two 4 pin connectors and route forward on the driver's side.

The cable tie must be routed between the thin foam of the upholstery and the support pad.

The cable tie must be routed between the upholstery's thin foam and the protective pad (also see image 29).

IMG-317332 Locate the hole under the upholstery on the headrest side, marked with tape. Make a hole in the upholstery using a scriber or an awl.

Tap it in lightly using a plastic hammer so that it secures properly. IMG-317334 Position the panel on the seat. Position the cable harness in the panel's cutout.

Only slide it down so that the distance between the seat and lower edge of the headrest is approximately 50mm. IMG-317336 Connect the connector and push the headrest down to the locked position.

  • Page 31 Installation instructions, accessories Volvo Car Corporation Gothenburg, Sweden Mark as illustrated on the tunnel console's storage compartment. Pre-drill using a Ø 2.5 mm (3/32") bit. Drill out the hole. Use a Ø35 mm (1 3/8") diameter hole saw. Smooth off the hole edges.
