when my engine is cold and I start it it start ok but there is a grinding noise right after. Can you identify the problem please.

Mr. Anderson

A grinding noise when starting a 2016 Honda Fit in cold weather could be caused by the engine being harder to start in low temperatures or at high altitudes. Cold weather can also drain the battery, reducing its power, which may lead to abnormal starter motor operation and noise. Turning off electrical accessories before starting can help reduce battery load.
