- Page 9 Step 3 Requires 2, 3 Place pumice stones 3 into the body 2. Warning! • The screen in this firebowl MUST be clear and free of obstructions at all times to ensure proper operation. Make sure the fire bowl is covered completely with pumice stones lest the flame extinguish occasionally.
- Page 10 Model No. 085-1296-8 Step 5 To install the propane gas tank to the body 2, first turn the cylinder valve on the propane gas tank clockwise to close the gas supply on the propane gas tank. Then, screw the regulator coupling from inside the body 2 onto the valve clockwise by hand only.
- Page 11 Perform leak test in a well-ventilated area outside where no source of spark can occur. Connect propane gas tank to regulator. Turn the on/off valve at the unit to the “OFF’” position to pressurize the control system. Use a soapy-water solution to check all the connections for leaks before attempting to light the appliance. If a leak is found, or you smell gas, disconnect cylinder and turn valve off.
