Add a shortcut (desktop mode)
1. Open
All apps.
2. Touch and hold the app you want to add until it is highlighted, then drag it
to the desktop.
Customize your tiles
On the Start screen, touch and hold the tile that you want to customize.

You can then:
Drag the tile to where you want it.

Tap ..., then select the tile size that you want (Small, Medium, Wide,

or Large).
Tap Turn live tile on or Turn live tile off.

Note: When turned on, live tiles show you content and notifications.
Remove a tile

Unpinning an item from the Start screen doesn't delete the app. See
