3. Getting Started What is a SIM card When registering your mobile phone number, you will have a Sim card (Subscriber Identity Module) provided by the network operator. The SIM card has information reserved for your use. It includes your phone number, PIN (Personal Indenification Number), PIN2, PUK (password to unlock PIN), PUK2 (password to unlock PIN2), IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identity) number, network information, phone book data, SMS data and so on.

4. Settings 4.1 Android basics When you first turn on your phone, you have the opportunity to learn more about it and to sign into your Google Account. The it´s a good idea to become familiar with the basics of your phone and how to use it (the Home screen, the touchscreen and buttons, menus, applications, entering text and so on).

5. Calling (Phone) Making a Call In idle screen, after pressing phone type in number, press the calling key to make a call. Press the ending key to end a call. Making an international call Touch and hold “0” to enter “+“. Enter the country code, area code and phone number.
8. Messagging 8.1 SMS The phone supports Short Messaging Service (SMS) and Enhanced Message Service (EMS). You can send text messages and manage the messages that you sent and received. If the memory for short messages is not full, short messages will be directly saved in the SIM card. The Menu key shows you your possibilities like, compose, search, delete threads and settings.
8.2 Email You can send and receive emails in Email. Touch the Email icon and press the settings button to open the menu. Choose Account settings to set a new account. Via Accounts you can see the set accounts and via folders the folders. To write a new mail, choose Compose. With Refresh the programme loads more messages.
9. Multimedia 9.1 Camera The phone is provided with a built-in 3.0 mega pixel CMOS camera at the back, which supports the photographing and video shooting functions. Pictures are saved in the file system of the phone. You can send the pictures taken by the MMS/Bluetooth/Email function provided by the phone. While in camera mode, press the Menu key to set the built-in 0,3 mega pixel front camera.
9.3 Sound recorder The Android phone comes with a built in Sound Recorder application hidden in the system (not user interface). This application will provide a shortcut to open and use this hidden feature! 10. Tools 10.1 Calendar You can enter events in the calendar. 10.2 Alarm You can set three types of alarm clock time if required. Then the alarm icon will be displayed on the idle screen. Touch alarm for settings. You can set whether to enable the alarm, the ring time, repetition mode, audio options, snooze minutes and alert type.
