    Using the Remote Control 1. To use the remote control, point it towards the front of the HD94003G. 2. The remote control has a range of up to 7 metres from the set top box at an angle of up to 60 degrees.

    2. Connect the YPbPr output connectors (green, blue and red cable) and AUDIO L/R output connectors (white and red cable) on the back of the HD94003G to the COMPONENT input (green, blue and red) and audio input (white and red) on your television using RCA-type cables.

All on screen information, including program guides and menus, will be read out to you using synthetic speech. When a programme is set with a reminder, just before the programme reaches broadcast time, a message will be shown on the screen, saying that the program is about to start.

You can turn the audio description function on or off by pressing the AD button.   • Page 25 Set mode This function allows you to set the level of information provided as part of the talking feature. The HD94003G will be set to beginner when you start to use it. This means that all information that appears on screen will be spoken to you.

    This function allows you to set what part of the audio track is output through the 3.5mm headphone jack on the front of the HD94003G. The two options are “Main and audio description (all) to both” and “Main to speaker, audio description to headphone”.
