  • Page 11 - Clean the area on the windshield where the unit will be installed with a glass cleaning solution such as Windex or rubbing alcohol. - For positioning the unit, it is better to place the unit closer to the center of the vehicle. If the unit is installed on the right or left side of the rear view mirror, ensure there is room to detach the unit if needed via the sliding bracket.
  • Page 12 - Move the camera from top to bottom to adjust it and find the best position. - The camera view can be checked on LCD screen. (Please touch the LCD screen in order to switch between front and rear camera in installations where the second optional camera is present).

The camera is securely fixed to prevent random movement by slight vibration so apply enough force to adjust the angle of the camera. 6) Check LED lights - The REC LED is blue when the unit is recording (NORMAL) files and red when recording an (EVENT) files after an impact or if the manual button has been activated.

    - Use the enclosed cable holders to organize cables. *Connect the optional camera - The auxiliary camera can be used by being connected to the CAM IN port. recommend to power off the main unit before connecting the second camera to the CAM IN port.

    - There is an optional audio notification "Voice recording is on." that is played when audio recording starts while the product boots and VOICE LED stays solid blue state. - The status of audio recording can be set in Menu> Voice Recording ∙ guidance > Voice Recording ON / OFF on the LCD screen.
  • Page 18 1) Screen display during normal driving ■ Screen display once recording starts - The forward view is shown on the LCD by default after the system starts. - Forward and Rear view cameras are switched between on the LCD by tapping the video. If no rear camera is connected, only the forward view will be available.

    ■ Menu - Touch to go back to the video viewing screen. ■ Playback - This area allows files to be selected and viewed. ■ Voice Recording ∙ Guidance - Can be turned On / Off, Up / Down. ■ System Settings - Sensitivity of Shock sensor, recording time for an event file after an impact and storage ratio of each folder, touch calibration, are configured on this screen.

  • Page 21 ■ Master volume - The higher the number is, the louder the volume will be for notification sounds and video playback. ■ Event alarm - This enables audio notifications when shock events are registered or system checking is required. ■ Voice recording - This enables audio recording inside of the vehicle.
  • Page 22 - This feature allows the system to detect when the vehicle battery is getting low and shut down before the charge is too low to start the vehicle. 12V is the recommended setting when connected directly to the vehicle battery in order to prevent the StreetCam HD from fully discharging the vehicle battery.

    12V is the recommended setting for normal vehicles when the StreetCam HD is connected directly the vehicle’s battery to prevent the recorder from fully discharging the battery. ■ Parking Mode - When Auto Parking is selected, the system will switch into Parked mode after 10 minutes of no vehicle movement.
