Note: The Radar guard shown in the illustration
above is provided as an example only. The exact
design and positioning of the Radar guard is
wholly dependent on the nature of your vessel,
sailplan, and installation environment. For
example, for some vessels it is appropriate to
locate the guard above the Radar scanner; for
other vessels, it may be more appropriate to fit it
below the scanner. Raymarine does not supply
Radar guards but recommends that you select
a guard that is attached directly to the mast and
is completely separate to the Radar mounting
bracket. It may be necessary to have a Radar
guard custom designed to suit your specific vessel
and installation environment. Please contact your
local dealer for further advice.
