Child restraint installation locations

Permissible options for fastening a child restraint system with a three-point seat belt
Weight and age class
Group 0: up to 10 kg
or approx. 10 months
Group 0+: up to 13 kg
or approx. 2 years
Group I: 9 to 18 kg
or approx. 8 months to 4 years
Group II: 15 to 25 kg
or approx. 3 to 7 years
Group III: 22 to 36 kg
or approx. 6 to 12 years
U : universal suitability in conjunction with three-point seat belt
X : no child restraint system permitted in this weight class
: adjust seat backrest inclination as far as necessary to a vertical position to ensure that the belt runs forwards from

the upper anchorage point
2 : move the driver and/or passenger seat forwards and adjust seat backrest inclination as far as necessary to a vertical
position to ensure that the child restraint system does not have any interference from the front seat backrest.
