    FORMATTING A MEMORY STICK Formatting is a process the Tribute performs so that a memory stick and the Tribute will speak the same lan- guage. A new memory stick will need to be formatted one time before it can be used. Once formatted, the memory stick can be used repeatedly for Music Recordings and saving Bank Presets.

    How to Change the Sound in a Genius Tab or Button Each button and tab contains a preset sound. Pressing a genius button or tab activates that sound and Genius changes the screen to display the location/name of that genius sound. There are three methods for assigning different sounds to the buttons and tabs.
