Turn Your Tablet Off
1. Press and hold the Power/Lock key to open the tablet options menu.
2. Tap Power off to turn the tablet off.
 Your tablet will power off.
Your screen remains blank while your tablet is off (unless the battery is charging).
Note: If your device is not responding, press and hold both the Power/Lock and Volume Down keys
simultaneously for more than seven seconds to restart the device.

Use the Touchscreen

Your tablet's touchscreen lets you control actions through a variety of touch gestures.
Tap or Touch
When you want to type using the keyboard, select items onscreen such as application and settings icons,
or press onscreen buttons, simply tap or touch them with your finger.
