RPT (Repeat)
Cassette player
Push "RPT" (preset button 2) while the
track is playing. "
" will appear on
the display. When the track ends, it will
automatically rewind and replay. To turn
off the repeat feature, push this button
again.
There must be at least 3 seconds of blank
space between tracks in order for the re-
peat feature to work correctly.
Compact disc player
There are two repeat features—You can
either replay a disc track or a whole com-
pact disc.
Repeating a track:
Quickly push and release "RPT" (preset
button
2)
while
the
track
is

the track ends, it will automatically replay.
To turn off the repeat feature, push this
button again.
Repeating a disc:
Push and hold "RPT" (preset button 2)
until you hear a beep. "

SAT
(Satellite radio)
Push the "SAT" button to turn on the radio
and select the XM band. "SAT1", "SAT2"
or "SAT3" will appear on the display. This
system allows you to set eighteen XM
channels, three for each of the preset
button.
Error messages
If the satellite radio tuner malfunctions,
playing.
your audio system will display one of the
six following error messages.
"ANTENNA":
The XM antenna is not connected.

Check whether the XM antenna cable
is attached securely.
A short−circuit occurs in the antenna or
D
the surrounding antenna cable. See a
Toyota certified dealer.

"UPDATING":
You have not subscribed to the XM

satellite radio. The radio is being up-
dated with the latest encryption code.
Contact the XM satellite radio for sub-
scription information. When a contact is
canceled, you can choose the "CH000"
and all free−to−air channels.
The premium channel you selected is

not authorized. Wait for about 2 sec-
onds until the radio returns to the pre-
vious channel or "CH001". If it does
not change automatically, select anoth-
er channel. If you want to listen to the
premium channel, contact the XM satel-
lite radio.
"NO SIGNAL": The XM signal is too
weak at the current location. Wait until
your vehicle reaches a location with a
stronger signal.
