INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS (CONT.)
8. Attach four #8 screws through the marked key-
holes. Keep the screw heads 1/8" from the wall
surface.
9. Without the tool caddy attached to the Garage-
Vac, slide the 4 holes on the back side of vacuum
cleaner over the screw heads and push down.
If vacuum cleaner is loose on the screws,
remove vacuum and tighten screws.
10. Remove GarageVac from the wall, and attach
the tool caddy by sliding the "dove tails" on the
bottom of the caddy into the grooves on top of
the unit. You will hear a click when the pin on top
of the housing clicks into the corresponding hole
on the tool caddy. See FIG 2.
11. Install the GarageVac with the tool caddy onto
the screw heads as described in step 9. If need-
ed, install an additional screw through the top
hole in the tool caddy.
12. Place the hose retainer on the front of the
GarageVac by first attaching the double-sided
tape to the retainer, matching the radius on
each. "Warning" has to be legible in the upright
position. The retainer will not fit upside down.
13. Before plugging in the electrical cord, check to
be sure the vacuum cleaner bag and motor filter
are installed. See Operating Instructions (pg. 8).
Never use vacuum cleaner without
dust bag or motor filter in place.

Wand Holder Installation

1. Choose a location that is close to the GarageVac
and leaves room above and below for the alumi-
num telescoping wand with floor tool attached.
2. Wood surface uses the 2 screws supplied with
the wand holder package.
3. Dry-walls uses two 1-1/2 long screws from the
fastener package.
The wand holder should be mounted
against a wall stud for additional strength.
