    1.1 Panel While doing the check in we will give you the basic explanations (main important functions) of the instruments. Panel switches are clearly labeled. 1.2 Main panel fuses / shore power supply If turned on, the LEDs next to the switch are shining and indicate that the circuit is powered with 12 / 220 Volts.

    1.3 windlass fuse In order to use the automatic windlass you need to switch on the fuse behind the panel. If the load is too high for the windlass the fuse can pop out. In this case you need to turn it on again and proceed with the maneuver.

    2.3 gas valve outside By turning the switch you can open or close the gas valve. Always keep the valve closed if kitchen is not used. All boats are equipped with 2 gas bottles. If you need to change gas bottles make sure to place the thread exact.

    The pump will take about 1 min in order to build up enough pressure in the hose again. 4.1 Engine room The Phoenix Team services the engines of all boats on a regular basis. In order to provide a safe and fail free use we recommend you do a short visual check every day before you start your trip.

    6.1 anchor locker + 6.2 windlass We recommend dropping the anchor manually. This is due the fact that while driving the boat backwards the speed of the boat is greater than the speed with which the chain is automatically dropped down. Always attach the locker door with a rope to the reeling to prevent injuries.

    8.1 Bilge / Bilge pump The automatic bilge pump is located at the deepest spot on the boat. Usually this is in the saloon under the wooden floor. The manual bilge pump is located outside in the cockpit close to the steering wheel. 9.1 safety equipment Life jackets for every crew member are supplied during the handover of the yacht.
