caller ID

Calling line identification (caller ID) shows the
phone number for an incoming call in your
phone's display.
Your phone shows the caller's name and picture when
they're stored in your phonebook, or Incoming Call when
caller ID information isn't available.
You can set your phone to play a different ringer ID for
an entry stored in your phonebook (see page 41).
To show or hide your phone number from the next
person you call:

in the global navigation bar to open the phone
keypad.

Tap
, then tap Setup to open the phone setup
menu.

Tap Show ID then tap On or Off to show or hide your
caller ID for outgoing calls.

Tap OK to save your settings.

Tap
to exit the phone setup menu.
Tip:
Select Network Controlled to let the network determine
your caller ID status.

emergency calls

Your service provider programs one or more
emergency phone numbers, such as 911 or 112, that
you can call under any circumstances, even when your
SIM card is not inserted.
Note:
Check with your service provider, as emergency
numbers vary by country. Your phone may not work in
all locations, and sometimes an emergency call cannot
be placed due to network, environmental, or
interference issues. Do not solely rely on your
wireless phone for essential communications, such as
medical emergencies.
