Making Notes on the Scratchpad
In addition to your internal phone book, you also have a built-in scratchpad for making quick notes. The
scratchpad remembers the last phone number shown on your display.
Entering a Number in the Scratchpad
If you are on the phone and your party gives you another number to call, enter the number on the scratchpad so
you can place the call later.
1. Enter the number on the keypad. (The person on the line can hear tones as you dial.)
2. Press º to end the current call, if necessary.
3. Press æ to call the number you saved on the Scratchpad.
Storing Numbers During a Call
You can also store numbers during a call:
1. Enter the number on the keypad. (The person on the line can hear tones as you dial.)

3. Enter the two-digit memory location where you want the sequence stored.
or
Press « to store the sequence in the next available location.
or
Enter the first digit of the memory location, then press « to store the sequence in the next available
location beginning with that digit.
§. If desired, enter a name to identify the phone number.
4. You will see
Alpha Or
or ¬ when you finish entering the name or press
5. Press
store the number without a name.
