8. Contacts

About Contacts

Each Contacts entry can store several numbers, email
addresses, chat addresses, or street addresses.
Information stored in Contacts is saved in your phone's
memory.
Tip:
You can import Contacts information from and export it to
your SIM card. See
on page 87
for details.
A Contacts entry contains:
A name — Typically, this is the name of the person
whose contact information is stored in the entry.
A ringtone — You can assign a ringtone to each
entry. This is the sound your phone makes when you
receive phone calls or call alerts from any of the
numbers stored in the entry.
A Contacts type — Each number or address stored
must be assigned a Contacts type. (See "Types of
Contacts" on page 83.)
