Safety Notes

This chapter provides general safety
information that should be considered
for your own protection and that of
others. Please note that additional
warnings are listed in the individual
chapters as necessary.
Danger of suffocation for children!
Make sure that children do not remove
any small parts from the earphones.
They could swallow and choke on
them.
Extended listening at
high volumes may lead to
hearing loss.
To avoid damage to health, avoid ex-
tended listening at high volumes.
Inear headphones may only be
connected to earphone jacks! Do not
connect them to the speaker jack of
an amplifier.
Set the volume control of your audio
source to low level before you insert
the inear headphones in your ears.
Risk of road traffic accidents!
Inear headphones suppress outside
noise to a considerable degree. For
the purpose of road safety, do not
wear inear headphones when driving
passenger vehicles or when cycling.
When wearing the inear headphones,
pay special attention to your surround-
ings, especially when crossing streets.

Risk of injury!
When you replace the ear tips, be
sure to firmly attach them to the ear
phones to prevent them from detach-
ing and becoming lodged in your ear.
If an ear tip is lodged in your auditory
canal and you are unable to remove
it yourself, consult an ear, nose and
throat specialist.
Do not use your headphones in areas
where there is a risk of explosion.
Risk of damage!
Keep your headphones away from wet
conditions, moisture and heat (e. g. in
your car in the summer) and me-
chanical stress (e. g. severe shocks,
pressure and being dropped).
Remove the headphones before using
hair spray.
Do not remove the headphones by
pulling on the cable.
