After switching on the telephone

You can use various applications from the Google™
portfolio on your phone. To do this, you will
generally require a Google™ account. This account
will allow you to access a larger number of services
such as Google Mail™.

First use

When you first switch on your phone, make the
following settings:
− Select the language and tap on
− Follow the on-screen instructions to conclude
the initial setup for your smartphone.
You can view the display in portrait or
landscape format. Simply hold the
telephone upright or on its side to change
the orientation of the display.
An Internet connection is required in order to
create a Google™ account or to sign in. You can
connect to the Internet either via your SIM card
or a Wi-Fi connection. Please bear in mind that
costs may be incurred for the Internet connection
especially when the connection is via your mobile
phone service provider if you do not have a flat
rate contract.
