  • Page 5 Once the unit is powered up the DVR will automatically format a brand new HDD. This process may take up to 10 minutes depending on the size of the HDD. Once the format is complete the red dot recording lights will appear on screen, please refer to the image below.

    Setting up the Time While the HDD is formatting you can change the settings for the DVR setup, first is the time and date. First press the ‘LOGIN’ button on the remote, and then enter the password. (By default it is set to ‘111111’) Once into the time set menu change the ‘TIME ZONE’...

    Last setting on this page is only required if you plan on recording audio. All you need to do is turn audio on, on the relevant channel/s. Once all the required settings have been changed remember to hit save at the bottom of the page.
