SETUP NEW CONSTRUCTION INSTALL Episode speaker installations can be simplified by using Episode Pre-Construction Brackets (sold separately).

  • Page 4 CONNECT Strip the insulation on each conductor approximately ¼” and insert into the speaker terminals. Ensure that there are no stray strands of wire protruding from the connectors. Observe proper polarity (+ to + and – to – for each speaker and at the amplifier).

    © 2014 Episode® REMOVING THE SPEAKER Important Note: When removing the speaker, the dogs must be engaged AND tightened before attempting removal. Failure to do so will result in the inability of the dog to retract to its parked position. Turn each dog screw in a counter-clockwise direction until the dog is in its original parked position.
  • Page 6 FINE TUNE ADJUST THE TWEETER First, remove the protective installation cover by pulling up on the perfo- rated hole on the outside edge. There are four different types of tweeter mechanisms illustrated below that may be used depending on the type of speaker. Tilt and/or rotate to direct sound where you prefer.
  • Page 7 © 2014 Episode® ADJUST THE SOUND On the face of the speaker, there is a switch for sound adjustment that varies by the model and size of the speaker. Treble/Bass Switch - Select + or — Typically, in furnished rooms with various absorption materials (furniture, carpet, people, etc), it is good to bump up the response 1.5dB to ‘+’.
  • Page 8 This warranty shall not apply to products that have been abused, modified, or disassembled. Products to be repaired under this warranty must be returned to SnapAV or a designated service center with prior notification and an assigned return authorization number (RA).
