Overview

The ECM606 is a small portable unit that is designed to secure areas of up to approximately 20m in
radius. The exact range depending on a variety of factors such distance to a relevant base station
(Mast) and its radiating power, local propagation conditions and the type of antenna used with the
ECM606.
Operation is simple. One switch activates the unit. The indicator LEDs show the operational and
battery status. An internal switch allows the user to select which bands are to be blocked.

Operating instructions

Switching on and blocking
Slide the Power switch to "On" to activate the unit. The Blue On indicator will flash to indicate that
the unit is active.

  • Page 3 This combination allows the units to function as a responsive/reactive jammer. External Amplifiers The output of the ECM606 may be fed into a power amplifier if several watts of jamming power is needed. The in-band(s) return loss should be better than 2:1 at 50 ohms.
