Display
Your V1250 uses a high performance 12.1 inch active matrix TFT panel that
will display millions of colors at 1024 x 768 resolution.
Caution: Do not place heavy objects on the LCD panel. Doing so may damage
the display.
Extending the Life of the TFT Display Device
Observe the following guidelines to maximize the life of the display.
1 Set the Brightness to the lowest comfortable setting.
2 When working at your desk, connect your V1250 to an external monitor and
disable the internal display.
3 If you are using AC power and have no external monitor attached, change to
Suspend Mode when not in use.
Adjusting the Display Brightness
To increase the brightness, press the Function key [Fn] and the right arrow [ ].
To decrease brightness, press [Fn] and the left arrow key [ ].
Automatic Brightness
You can set your V1250 to have the brightness automatically adjust according to
the illumination of the environment you are in. This is very useful when using
the V1250 as a tablet and you have no access to the keys for Brightness
Adjustment.
To set your V1250 to enable Automatic Brightness:
1 Click on Start > Control Panel > Display. If you do not see the Display Icon,
click Switch to Classic View located on the top left corner of the Control
Panel window.
2 Click on Settings then click the Advanced Tab.
3 Click on the Screen Rotation tab and select Auto Change by Light Sensor.
